This is a timesharing membership. I have 7000 points, good for a week's holiday (with room) each year plus unlimited access to all club venues and facilities such as gym, swimming pool, etc. I am emigrating, so need to sell this off urgently. TRANSFER PROCEDURE
Tanco says we and the buyer have to go to their HQ and sign over the membership. There is a transfer fee of RM700. The shares are actually worth RM2 each, meaning our 7000 points are worth RM14k, but since we really need to sell this off as we're leaving the country, we can sell it for even RM1 per share, which would be RM7k only, if the buyer will also pick up the transfer fee tab. |
